All you need is:
Mod Podge (flat or gloss)
Foam brush
A plastic container
Clear glaze spray (I like Krylon because its non-yellowing)
Step 1: Cut out your desired pattern or picture
This can be ANYTHING! Family pictures, magazine clippings, announcements in the newspaper, text from a book, anything!
Step 2: Apply a layer of Mod Podge to whatever surface your are decoupage-ing with a foam brush. Place the picture onto the surface and smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles.
Step 3: Apply more layers of Mod Podge, waiting 15-20 minutes between coats. Your can find this at most craft stores such as Michaels, Walmart, etc. Note: For tiles I apply 5 layers
Step 4: Once everything is dry, spray a layer of clear glaze onto the surface to reduce tackiness and for an extra protective finish.
That’s it! It’s so simple and can look great. Have fun Decoupage-ing!
